May Philanthropy at Re: Glamour + Giving: Girl's Night Out

This May, the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte opened their doors to offer support, hope and love for families struggling with children’s illness.
A room in the Ronald McDonald House costs approximately $85 a night to house, feed and support a family. However, families will be asked to make only a small donation of $10 to cover their stay and no family will ever be turned away if they cannot pay.
In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the new Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte, the Glamour + Giving “Girl’s Night Out” event was established in 2010. It offers a little bit of everything that women love – networking, cocktails, a fashion show and silent auction – all in support of a wonderful cause.
For this year’s show, 4 Model Mom’s (mothers of children who have staying in a Ronald McDonald House) walked the runway to raise awareness for the cause. When we heard about this fabulous event, we jumped at the idea of getting Re Salon and Med Spa involved!
The day of the show, we had the pleasure of hosting the Mom’s to a day of pedicures, facials, hair and make-up. Not only did they look amazing, but their presence in Re warmed the hearts of our entire staff. To our amazement, many of the Mom’s walking into Re with brilliant smiles on their faces, announcing that they “had never had a spa day before!” We are so grateful that we were able to have these Model Mom’s come to Re, share their stories and enjoy a day especially for them.
